Season 1 has basically finished and they are artificially adding a few more episodes to make up 13? And it's even more far fetched and ridiculous with a convoluted timeline so you lose interest in the plot? Yes, that's definitely the case for me, I know there are only 2 episodes left now, but I am not remotely interested in the characters anymore, the story has lost it's potential and the characters their reason to tell their story. Commiserations to the writers, you've done a terrible job...
I have never been into history, let alone Greek mythology, I can safely say that hasn't changed after watching this episode. It has actually confirmed my belief that some things should be left buried in the past or under the Akropolis. After watching the trailer for Kaos I was very sceptical about the production and I see myself vindicated about a show that pretends to be more than it is. It feels like haphazard storytelling, characters that don't seem to be grounded in reality and somehow don't have any sense of purpose. A voice over is trying to make the story more cohesive and give the characters some depth, but for me it's not working at all. It's way too boring, just like a history lesson at school used to be. I suggest playing truant!
The movie is trying to create a mystery that never actually exists or convinces. It's misleading its audience with an idea that seems intriguing at first, but very early on in the movie fails to keep the viewer interested. Sadly the dialogues seem mostly stilted and the characters remain remote and unaccessible, it's not a movie that draws you in, it just ambles along. I wanted to like the movie because it is essentially about the attempt of finding your own love and finding someone else's in the process, but it fails to deliver on the basic level of making an emotional connection with the viewer. A rating of '5' is the best I can offer, it's just a mediocre movie that should have been told in a tighter fashion with more emphasis on a more cohesive storytelling, especially in the last 15 minutes. Actual time travel would have been good too!
