1st season was a solid 8/10.

Then production had the" bright" idea to introduce "Deeks" (Christian Olsen) as the "funny", "sexy" character in the series to his partner "Kensi" vs DiNozzo in NCIS (Michael Weatherly) with "Zina" (Cote de Pablo).

They failed miserably with "Deeks" maybe because the guy is a bad actor, not in the caliber of Michael Weatherly.

Maybe because the script forced him with continuous "sexy, funny" attacks which are not funny , not sexy, but irritating wise ass BS.

They tried to make this guy dick, a miracle of nature. After 13 seasons and years, not aging not maturing with the same "hippy" look. Same "uncut" curly hair which he had to dye after the 10th season, same 7 day unshaven beard because he has no beard, the same 1/2" eyes narrower problem, and same continuous bla-bla talking as a "funny"wise-ass BS. A complete irritating jerk.

After the 6th season I had to fast forward every time he opened his mouth with Kensi, in order to finish the episode.

Shame because he dragged down his partner "Kensi", acting along with the same irritating BS and then the entire show with him.

Rating from 2nd season to 14th, 2/10.

I recently watched all 12 seasons. Till the 7th season the show is a usual cop show, old style. No street cameras, no cell phones, no DNA, no satellites, no computer databases etc etc. In 2024, for an old cop series is just tolerable and worth a 6/10. This show should have ended in the 8th season. After the 9th season, first the scripts became totally stupid, naive and boring full of holes and cliches. Then the leading actors following such bad scripts. Became boring and predictable as well. The worst season of all is the last (the 12th) when Danno (an awful actor as well) disappears and they used an highly unlikable actor (as Kimo) to replace him . Finally, they ended the season early, realizing the total audience boredom. Overall rating 2/10. They just destroyed an average series by dragging it to a total disaster.

They gathered a bunch of bad actors, gave them an incredibly poor and stupid script, created a team of highly incompetent, irritating and unlikable character, named them "legends" and finally led them to a total show disaster. I am curious how this crap show lasted for 7 seasons and have viewers voting with higher scores than 3.
