While season 1 is excellent thanks to a great story and the 2 leads of McConaughey and Harrelson, Season 2 doesn't follow. The characters are shallow and one-dimensional. They are in constant misery with little end in sight. The story goes off in so many different directions, the viewer gets lost (or falls asleep). The actors often mumble their lines to where you need closed captions to understand what they are saying. Shootout scenes are so absurd that you don't care if the main characters get killed. While I gave the first season 10 stars, I give Season 2 only 2 stars and that was generous. I give the cinematography for both seasons a very high rating but that's as far as it goes. As of this date I haven't seen 3 or 4 yet but I can only hope that they are way better than 2.
This documentary is excellent in every way except for one problem. That is when feminists like Laplaca have to narrate "woke" garbage to somehow make Lucy a victim of sexism and patriarchy. Lucy had enormous power in this business and she was never afraid to show it. Otherwise if you can ignore that claptrap propaganda, it's very good.
The most enjoyable segment of this show is the end! Racist and stupid, it's hard to believe this show aired beyond a week. It's an insult to anyone's intelligence!
