First time in 5 seasons where I felt like I was watching a filler episode that had absolutely no relevance to the overall plot nor did it tell us anything more about our characters that we didn't already know.
They recycled a few side plots with different skins. We already knew Tony's dad was scummy and that they often let friends into their poker games and have no problem with them racking up a debt.
I'll remember this episode as the episode I'll skip if I ever rewatch the show.
She mistress was really gorgeous though. You could tell she was quite the dame back in the day and had some serious gams.

It's been months since I first watched this specific episode and I still get chills thinking about it. Difficult to talk about without spoiling, so I won't say much more. Absolutely beautiful storytelling, superb action and stellar soundtrack etch this episode in to the hall of fame for all eternity.
The Simpsons has those very few episodes that are capable of bringing a tear to the manliest of eyes, and this could be one of those episodes.
Whomever wrote the dialogue in this episode was certainly on point, because there were some great, funny and surprisingly touching lines in this episode especially from Homer to Maggie and another speech given by Homer to Moe towards the end.
I don't usually write reviews, but this was an episode with a lot of heart and shone some light on the importance of not judging people and what it can really mean to love someone.
It may not have been the funniest or the most consistent episode, but it was by far the most touching episode they've put out in a long time, so for that I have awarded it 10 out of 10.
