Again, this is turning into the Olivia Benson show. No captain goes out on a crime scene. The detectives do that and they report back to the captain. The captain does not interview suspects or to get information from sources. That is again handled by the detective. The show is going to die if they don't stop it because I've heard several people make this comment about it and they do not watch it anymore just for that reason. Just let it be a police drama/crime show and let the viewers enjoy it. Besides, nobody stays in one unit of the police department for almost their whole career. They get burnt out.
It is time for the Olivia Benson character to exit the show. The show is becoming more about her than about the plot or any of the other characters. It seems she has some kind of hold over the producers to keep her on the show and it is obviously becoming a show that is losing its audience. She is an excellent actor, but her character is burnt out. It is time for her to go. Also, it is time for Finn's character to go. He's long past retirement age and his character is becoming old and frazzled. Again, a good actor, but good things must come to an end. Let's get some fresh ideas and fresh writers and producers for the show or let the show end on a good note instead of dieing a slow withering death.
Man, I have never heard so many apologies and asking for forgiveness from so many people for so many different things. I guess the old adege is "ask for forgiveness instead of asking permission at first". Come on, stop the apology tour. The story lines are pretty weak and the costumes are great but there's no way that Will's mom could afford that from Philly. Also, there is no way a lawyer would have a house like that in Los Angeles. Maybe in Des Moines Iowa, but not LA. And the stereotypes for black people are completely overboard. The best part as well is a very good actor enjoy the way he moves through the show.
