I just finished watching the entire series again after all these years and I made a realization.. Although Charlie was the engine that kept it all running, him getting replaced was actually not the biggest problem.. Ashton Kutcher certainly did not work as a replacement but the problem lies with the writing team. Seems like they tried to hard without actually trying. Starting to wonder why the audience were even laughing. My theory is it was either pre-recorded or they got paid to do it. None of the jokes landed... Season 9-12 didn't produce a single memorable episode. Alan tried to carry the show but there's only so much he can do when the production team don't care anymore.
Nothing about this made any sense. I'm disappointed that Chuck Lorre would sink this low. This show died when Charlie Sheen got fired and it should have been canceled right there and then. Sadly that's not the world we live in.

This movie truly does take me back.. To a time when Michael Bay had style. Not claiming this is a masterpiece but it serves perfectly well as a guilty pleasure. And Bad Boys 2 is in my opinion the best in the series.. Standards are not particularly high to be fair but no one cares. You don't watch these type of movies expecting a groundbreaking plot with Shakespearean storytelling. No, you watch them to shut your brain off and forget about the fact that life sucks for a few hours. My favorite scene will always be the one when Reggie shows up at the door. Fun fact about that scene: The guy who played him was not prepared for it, the look in his eyes is actually genuine.. No acting involved there.
In modern times movies try to be more than they have and right to be, this one did not. It's a braindead buddy cop movie with lots of action and comedy and it never claimed to be anything else.
Am I biased for giving it 8/10? Maybe, feel free to sue me.

Believe me when I say that I have no warm feelings towards the deranged moron that is your president and seeing him mocked makes me happy from top to bottom, but... I still didn't like the episode. Kinda feels like I've seen it before, more than once. South Park has become unorganized, just random stuff followed by more random stuff.. I remember them criticizing Family Guy for this a while back and now they've taken the same route. It's hard to get invested in the story because it's all over the place. Modern day South Park is simply just not as good as it used to be in terms of storytelling and comedy.. It's too politically motivated. Matt & Trey are getting old and it shows.
Sorry internet but this episode is nowhere near as good as you claim.
