Would be nice if SS finally made a decent movie again instead of these half baked genre exercises, some incredibly boring. This at least I managed to finish, but being just about watchable is not what you expect from this director and cast. I really don't see what the point was of doing another unoriginal spy movie with very little action and boring characters and story. The cinematography was fine and the clothes and interiors looked good and Fassbender was good, but they forgot to write a personality for the rest of the cast, I still have no idea what Pierce Brosnan's character was doing in this movie. Sad to see another wasted opportunity from Stephen S, whose movies I used to look forward to but who has not done anything great since Contagion.

We are in episode 3 already with almost nothing to show for it, could have been done in about 15 minutes. This show has always dragged on with a lot of unnecessary filler, but it is becoming ridiculous now. Just do a five episode season if that is all the story you have. Not the only Apple show with this formula, For All Mankind usually has a good first and last two episodes with boring filler in the middle.

The movie looked great and well made and had some good actors, it just did not have a particularly gripping story and the editing was a bit strange, cutting away to something boring when there was finally some tension. It looked good in the trailer and was looking forward to it, but this is no Dunkirk or 1917, the story and how it is told is very pedestrian and feels like it was a waste of time.

The tone is also all over the place, it feels like some adventure movie at some point then it gets quite dark and feels like another director would have shown more of the action or they just did not have any budget left to do those scenes. I am glad I did not pay to watch this in the cinema,
