Update after watching episode 6
The show has becoming less watchable and full of unreasonable flaws.
The whole island basically is defenseless and no guard watching over the lab.
The synthetics white head guy has very strange logics as if he wants to see how his boss fails.
The show is just not logical.
------ The first episode gives a good and quick introduction.
But starting from the 2nd, I grow become hating the characters.
The brother is incredibly stupid and surprisingly strong.
The kid-boss seems smart but keeps making idiotic mistakes.
It is supposed to be a good sci-fi but "kid's mind in a super robot" makes it hard to watch. Is it some kind of dark joke? To me, it is just another kind of "dumb guys in horror movies". Yeah the good side is it gives diversity.

If you are looking for bloody horror or jump scare, this movie is not ideal for you.
However, VERONICA is a well-told story.
The pace is ok; may be a bit slow to some.
We all know what happens to séance so there is not much to expect. Numerous movies have done the topic.
But VERONICA is well-told. The story is complete. You get the motive, a process and the consequence.

Human body hunting treasure map is a fun , possibly original, ideal. Stories make sense, with some exaggeration. Acting is not too bad. Pace is excellent. In all, this is a good show. No wonder it has 5 seasons.
BUT, I feel dizzy after 10 minutes into the show (ep1). Why can't they find a camera man with steady hands? There is no single scene that is not shaky for more than 3 seconds. Especially, somehow the show has TONS of closeup shots. Even the office scenes are not fixating on one thing. I feel like it is a vision test rather than a show that people can watch one after another. Yes, this method of shooting creates tension. BUT it is really not comfortable to watch it. The director should be fired.
