Who killed sara? By the time one gets to Ep 7 you don't care any more and there is still 3 episodes to go.

The story and the melodrama would have made this a truly watchable , though probably forgettable experience.

However the terrible film editing, with meaningless flashbacks and camera work so shaky at times I felt dizzy just ruined the experience. It is such a pity as the multiple plot twists with every character being guilty fits well in the genre and could have made this a truly bingeable offering, especially with the gratuitous sex, the matricide, sibling rivalry and generally ott characters.

I would like too see Mr Manolo (Alex) in something better made as he seems to have good potential.

Desperate less is a Brazilian soap opera, there is no going back from that.

However it is well worth the investment to ease through it.

The production goes a great job with the characters and with the cast selection that age over the show.

The writers managed to induced the character traits of the parents into the children. There is little guess work required to know which way the story is heading but that is ok, it's there telling that odd important. The themes of truth and the impact of lies is repeated constantly.

Well worth a watch.

Kudos to Ali Wong for changing it up and getting right down in your face. Yes it is crass, vulgar, shocking and stays on the dirt track right down in the gutter except for the last crack at the end where Ali admitted to being in a new relationship and a stable divorce after this riotous celebration of being the single lady.

What she wasn't was mysoginist not too prejudiced beyond the admitted faults not overwhelmingly lusting about her obvious and well earned success. As so many of her male colleagues tend to be.

It will be very interesting to see where Ali can go next. Meanwhile I might just watch this show again while I'm waiting.

Watch it with open ears and no kids in the house.
