  • A Healthy Step Up for Indian Movies

I can't diss this movie for not being on par with Hollywood - because it took Hollywood a lot of time and mix of good and bad movies to reach where they are today. And Attack is a similar crucial stepping stone for Indian movies, whether you like it or hate it AFTER watching it is your personal opinion.

But to solely dismiss it as a copy of Robocop/Upgrade is equally unfair.

Art inspires art, stories inspire stories and after I was done watching it, in retrospect I can't recall a dull moment which seemed like a blatant rip off in any way.

I've also seen people criticizing it for Jingoism and my only question is why can't a movie have a sci-fi backdrop and talk about role of an enhanced individual in a politically strife terrorism situation? It's hell a lot better than watching actors romance with love interests the age of their daughters now.

The movie isn't without it's flaws but it's a great case study for directors who are looking to explore more sci-fi action in Indian setting, it'd be great if such people can absorb all the good this movie finally brings to the stale state of mainstream Bollywood and look at the places it faltered to come up with even better projects in future.

Attack was definitely worth the watch for me as it gave me hope for Indian movies.

  • Wicked Fun!

Don't listen to critics! As an entertainer this bops hard! 1.5hrs of comedy, action and bizzare wickedness. I'd expect nothing less from a movie about an alien who is basically an angsty teen living in the body of an average joe loser trying to get by. The contradictions are hilarious and interesting. The movie doesn't let your focus wander off for one second and moves swiftly. I love it.

  • Marvel outdid themselves AGAIN!

I'll be honest I didn't think Marvel could pull off something that can surpass Infinity War and Endgame. I'm so happy I was wrong.

It's always fantastic when Marvel follows cause & effect sincerely in their storyline sand No Way Home is the shiny exemplary masterpiece that proves how sincere story writing with genuine and thoughtful consequences can elevate the narrative and characters as they travel their said arcs. Beautifully executed! Can't wait to see where we go from here with Spidey. Absolute must watch.
