Historical mistakes its 1850s and everyone has a revolver although carry muskets. Imagine back then a revolver apart being with paper cartridges loaded like a pistol it was rare and unreliable.

If you do research on the Director you will see he is the same guy that ruined Star Wars. Subvert expectations he said as he ruined star wars the new trilogy. In this one he did exactly the same thing Cheap scare movies have the lazy writting of the jump scare. Ryan Johnson was cheap subversions.

If you really like mysteries you will fill cheated. The whole movie is so lazy written. Basically the ending proves that the whole plot was stupid.
