The director had multi million budget, talented actors from all over India, highly capable technical team at his disposal. Unfortunately, he chooses violence and gore to attract audiences, so much that children below 15 cannot watch.
First 15 minutes is buildup which is expected in such movies. Just as the story progress, it loses the direction. It's like adding every ingredient in kitchen one after the other without thinking what dish is to be prepared.
There are so many scenes which just makes us feel that the director has assumed that audiences keep their brain in pocket while watching movies. For example, Shoubins head is smashed with hammer till he dies, packed in a polyethylene bag and left there for hours. He not only puts out his hand once he is burried, he could stand, speak, walk and also kidnap a 25yr old girl by killing people in the train, all alone and within few minutes.
Upendra is shown to be younger than he is shown in a 30years old flashback.
This type of movies are insult to audiences.

Though it appears to be a realistic cop movie, it just falls flat towards the end. There is no proper narrative. Many scenes are dragged and few are not even necessary.
Performances are good but complete movie is focused on the two cops, so there is no scope for others.
It is more of a documentary rather than a movie.

Started watching this movie without much expectation or background. But, it was funny from the first minute. Both Prithviraj and Basil characters are very nicely developed as the fun unwraps and they don't disappoint. Movie runs at a very good pace and the situational comedy tickles your funny bone. Music is apt and each character has its own importance and fun. Everyone has done justice to their role and they also hold their own unique mannerism.
Much could have been done with Nirmalas character and Yogis character appears overdone. Anyhow, it doesn't affect the fun and this is a very good situational comedy.
