Netflix clearly blew a fortune on glitzy sets and slick editing, but no amount of polish can make Markle shine. This reeks of a self-obsessed vanity project-recycled events draped in luxury to mask zero creativity and cringe-worthy acting. Our hostess with the absolute leastess is stiffer than a Botoxed forehead, painfully aware of every camera angle, turning what could've been real moments into a parade of awkward photo-ops. She struts into each segment like it's a catwalk, vs a lifestyle cooking show, serving up forced charm and tired puns that land like dad jokes at a funeral.
Calling this snoozefest "authentic" is like calling her performance Oscar-worthy-pure fiction. It's a contractual box-ticking, PR-polishing sham that screams "I'm relatable!" while dripping in privilege. Talented creators are out there begging for a shot, but instead, we get this alleged bully coasting on her royal marriage certificate. Save your bandwidth and take a nap instead-you'll get more depth from your dreams.

This 5 part series has been under-rated, I'd give it an 11 for realness, videography, and story-telling with guts.
It's a look at the life of a mother, raising three daughters, post divorce paying alimony to her uninvolved children's father while she supports her cantankerous mom in the house across the road. Her own home is full of life, the good and the bad, but to all of her friends and her kids friends, or anyone she meets; she's a rock with magical skills in the kitchen, even after spending her days, booking roles enough roles in Hollywood to provide a good life and never taking herself too seriously. Too many nuances to mention, but all cleverly woven into the story. We should all have a Sam in our lives. To cap off the 50 or so episodes, she gives us an ending the sopranos wish they'd had. I am a bit verklempt and not even Jewish, to have reached the finale. They will all be missed!

And because of this, it was canceled and that is sooooooo unfortunate!!
