It's not what I was expecting from the synopsis of the show but it isn't bad. It kind of goes off track sometimes and while flirting with making fun of religion, it sometimes goes a little far. It's not all the time like some shows so I can look past that. It does seem like they throw things in there to "own the right" from time to time which makes no sense. Conservatives don't mind being made fun of if it is done in a funny way or in a subtle way. That's why "The Boys" was good until season 4. Season 3 was kind of putting it's toe over the line but season 4? Just jumped right over.

If you get upset easy like the left does then skip this. It makes religion into a corrupt world order with the pope as big as Violet from Willy Wonka (the original). Who sits on people's heads. It does the girl boss who can take on multiple large trained males...

I am waiting for the payoff when they finally find who they are looking for. It can either make or break the show. Right now on season 3 it is on thin ice.

It's not an easy show to describe. It's something that seems more like it came out of the mind of a drug induced fantasy/nightmare. It's not scary. It's not LOL funny, to be honest the only thing it has going for it that is a major plus is wanting to know what the pay off is for when they find what they are looking for.

You have Angels, demons, God, Devil, vampires, voodoo priestess, soul eating, high level operatives controlling just about everything in the world, nazis, and who knows what else they might toss in on season 4. Not sure I will keep going to season 4 if they don't give us a wrap up on who they are looking for. Hell is like it is in the tv show Supernatural where you live out your worst moments over and over.
