Watched the first 6 episodes now, and i absolutely love it.
It is not the standard kind of series, it is unique in the way that it tells the story. You have to make some effort to follow, especially during the first episode you need to accustom. But that is why I love it: not just another one of the many TV-shows around, it is not straight to the point and all predictable. It is dreamy, mysterious and bewildering. Sometimes you even don't know for sure whether the characters are awake or dreaming.
A must see I think, at least if you are capable of absorbing a different style of TV- making :)

First time I saw the show, I really liked the story and the idea behind it. The acting is not always convincing and sometimes may be a bit more dramatic (like when a beloved one dies, the grieving does not seem to be very intense and with the evil Regina I sometimes miss some dark/evil tension). But I love the way in which all kind of fairytale characters live their 'normal' lives and the matters that occur parallel to their fairytale lives. The twist that is given to the well-known fairy tales is also nice. Half way season 1 I was a bit tired of all the parallel-fairytale characters in normal live, but luckily at the last episodes of season1 it got sensational, with some unpredicted and not-so-easy or quickly solved events and some characters evolving their personality. And season 2 goes further in that direction so I am very happy with this. And, last thing: I like the fact that the show is not horrifying, with bloody limbs torn apart and stuff like that. At least it is not shown extensive, as much other shows and movies do. Maybe it is less thrilling and sensational for some people, but I like it this way.
