  • It stands the test of time like no other

It's rare to rewatch a film that looks as fresh and interesting as when it came out. Even some classic superhero movies look a bit ridiculous 20 years later, but not this grim violent secuel of the daywalker vampire. God, maybe love this movie too much, but I feel it's better that its pedecesor. No character takes the spotlight, they are just one the many gears of an action-filled perfectly-directed wrist watch. The drama never feels draining and far from cheesy or awkward. The settings and characters create a particularly amazing atmosphere. The fight scenes are on point. This movie will look great anytime you'll watch it.

  • A funny Cameo Fest overshadowed by a lame plot

Every time goes the same. I find myself praying "please, don't suck" before every superheroe movie. This time the feeling I'm left with is mixed. The comedy was on point. I like the deadpool character having emotions and a strong character development. The dynamic with wolverine was excellent. Perfect chemistry. The wolverine mystic was not hurt, I may even dare say it was pumped up. All the perfomances were great. Now to the dirty business. I honestly think all the writing energy was put into developing every cameo in a funny and awesome way (I flavored every cameo like a sweet fart on a cold day). Ever since the previous movie when deadpool time traveled things got messy. The plot is just cheap stuff. Besides barely making sense, it ends up being a "Let's save the world with a happy ending while we beat a petty villian nobody will remember" type of movie. Nevertheless, it got me laughing a lot, which is a big win for any movie lately. Deapool 1 was a 10 in my book, and I wanted that, I'm really sorry this wasn't that. All the great cameos won't make up for a lame plot.

  • Fun and silly as the original

We can draw a couple of parallellisms with the original: cringy at times. The characters development is not there. The chemistry between the characters is enjoyably special, things go south in ways that don't make sense, and the spirit of fighting is as strong as the former. We see Road House for the action and fighting basically, the original may be a bit more subtle in the dialogues, thanks to a better script but I think this remake is more than acceptable for a movie that despite being a cult classic, it's not a gem of filmaking, no direspect. In this one, Dalton has a different temper but his phylosophy is still similar and his performance is very good. It's hard to criticized the acting of Mcgregor when the character he portrayed resembles himself so much in real life, but all in all you get the wild card antagonist that works very well in spcying the film. Overall, I got the same movie aftertaste as I did when I watched the original.
