Following on from Spielberg's Dino conservation and corporate boardrooms comes this standard "look! DINOSAURS run! Movie.
There is a lot of fun to be had here with tbe early Dinosaur fights but, sadly the fim loses momentum and peters out for the last 30 minutes or so.
The cast is very generic in this one and largely forgettable. You want them to get eaten!
Seeing Sam Neil at first is a welcome return but its sadly wasted. Laura Dern has an insulting cameo that angers the fan in me.
Overall its a fun dinosaur movie but, a average entry in the Jurassic Park franchise.
2.5/5 stars.

The cast from tbe original not returning (or being more involved) stalled this movie. It is movie that sadly just feels like a let down after the original.
Jeff Goldblum is promoted to lead star and he's excellent and Spielberg returned but it seems his heart was not in this sequel.
Overall the film is good not great.
The film feels like 2 films mashed together. There are a lot of great ideas in this movie and most of the action involving the dinosaurs is still great.
I would certainly reccomend it but, it falls short of that high bar of the original.

If you're new to Chuck Norris this is a good yardstick to his output in his prime. It came out the same year as 'Rambo II' and 'Commando' and cannot compete with their big muscular blockbuster appeal.
This feels and plays out like a B movie, which is certainly not a criticism.
It lacks the loud bangs and over the top gore of the previously mentioned movies but still has some grisly moments.
I am personally not a big Chuck Norris fan but this is just fine. It's not memorable.
Chuck Norris clearly had some appeal but his serious tone and lack of dialogue make it hard to connect to the character.
As a bonus Christmas movie its a good one time watch 2.5/5 stars.
