I was recently exposed to the song "Qayde Se", and I fell in love with it instantly.
The hook brought me to the movie.
Pritam has done wonderful work on this musical.
There is lot of humour, lots and lots of drama, lots of scenery, can feel overly mushy mushy.
However, there are plenty of good performances.
I was looking eagerly for the song "Qayde Se", and that got me all the way through the movie.
Nuanced acting skills from veteran actors, glamor from some, "cuteness" from some.
Can give it a shot on netflix.

Vadivelu excelled as Mareesan.
Fafa came a close second.
The script is interesting, and is able to keep the audience guessing.
Towards the second half, things start getting more predictable.
Sitara's performance was good too. Not many scenes, but nailing.
Reminded me of the first half of "Thudarum", which gently builds the intrigue, and delivers.
Once everything is unfolded, what you see is not entirely convincing. The craft is good though.
Good watch.

Kalyani Priyadarshan integrated well. She was enjoying herself, and her minimal acting abilities go well with the stoic super heroine role.
The promo song by Jakes Bejoy, Mu Ri, and Jyoti Nooran was the best thing in the movie for me.
I loved how the writing opened up possibilities. Smart and ambitious project from the business man in DQ.
Naslen has minimal role. Enjoyed Sandy's performance as the inspector.
Tovino's performance was fun.
Characters, and story segments are integrated in easily, breaking potential drudgery.
Stylized cinematography and special effects.
Did not like the cameo at the end. No punch.
Best thing about the movie is the number of doors and stories the movie has set the architecture for.
I did find myself laughing at some of the horror scenes. But, that is fine.
Technical brilliance here and there. A spectacle, time pass.
