I'm so glad they're giving us this prequel series.
Skylar Samuels as young Aurora Teagarden is perfect casting. She's far more believable as Aurora than the original actress.
I also appreciate the increase focus on set and sound design and the overall presentation of this movie is leaps and bounds better than the orginal movies which anachronistically portrayed Aurora Teagarden as living in Washington state but with a waterfall from New York!? Wow.
No such problem here, and I checked. They're using era appropriate feeling technology but I saw less CRT 4:3 ratio TV sets, few DVD or VCR devices and the computers especially laptops look like Chromebooks or modern low end Windows 10/11 devices than era appropriate units for 2008.
I look forward to reviewing the other movies in the prequel series.

Unlikable Chris Hardwicke and a pre-bad opinion Jenny McCarthy. Everyone is edgy and yelling. Contestants desperate to appear on TV with hosts that match.
