Good Boy is an interesting film in which our lead actor is a real life dog and the humans are side characters. In fact, the humans in this movie are so generic that even most video games that feature NPCs have more acting chops then the actors featured here. I get it, the movie is about the dog and what he encounters throughout this film, I just was expecting a lot more from how much this film was hyped up. Even the scare scenes in this were nothing special. The lead up is pretty decent but the film doesn't quite stick the landing. I still give Good Boy a decent 6 stars out of 10 for effort and for trying to do something different.
All Her Fault is a limited series on Peacock and it is riveting and you won't want to miss it! At only 8 episodes in total, this series goes by very fast with every episode carrying a lot of weight. Sarah Snook really is the anchor here and her performance should earn her some Emmy consideration. Make no mistake though, the whole cast here is very good. The premise here is a wealthy family's child goes missing and a web of lies and mystery start to unfold of how he disappeared occur. Please try and go into this without being spoiled at all because the ending will be a crazy one to fully digest. After binge watching this series, I still feel like there are some plot holes here but maybe they are saving this in case they do a season 2. I really hope they end it with just this 1 season though because it does have a satisfying conclusion. Keep in mind I have never read the book that this is based off but I'm sure it's great. All Her Fault gets a near perfect 9 stars out of 10.
The Family Plan 2 is atrociously bad. Apple studios should never have greenlit this film and you can tell that Mark Wahlberg and all involved clearly did this for a paycheck. The action and story is generic that you would have though A. I. completly created this movie. The set locations are not impressive at all and all look the same. I wouldn't even qualify this as a fun movie for the whole family because it is certainly not. Whatever happen to Mark Wahlberg?! He used to come out with good films but now has become this. The Family Plan 2 gets a very low 2 stars out of 10.
