I have been a Tom Petty fan since 1980. Seen every tour - some tours - would see many shows. Saw the Tom/Dylan/Grateful Dead concerts. At the time I refused to see Dylan/Petty - but TP&HB were a back up band to no one - not even Dylan. But when the added GD - I was in.
Just watched this - and this is Tom - and Tom Petty and the heartbreakers - as they were.
A tight group - that really enjoys playing - that play off each other. The camera work - highlights this so well - you would not have gotten "so close" to seeing this - but you felt it live.
Later in the set Tom restarts "Even the Losers" three time. I was reminded of when he was on Storytellers - and he poked-fun at the standard line said in every show.
It's just grade A R'nR.

... timelines of song should be correct
It's maddening if you have a perspective of when songs were released and you hear songs in the movie bar days that would Not have been released until decades later
Not a docu drama or even historical fiction
Just a great singer with a bunch of songs with a sort of story to it

Maniac is so so good - Kitchy, Sci-fi, meets matrix with super funny scenes , flashbacks to the 80s , clue meets pulp fiction meets cloud atlas. One of the best I have seen on Netflix
Just watch it
