Guilty! That is all that is all. What was the point of making this show? The court of public opinion is overwhelmingly against smollett. None of us are naive to be completely controlled by how a police department wants us to think. How do the complaints against the Chicago Police Department have anything to do with the facts of this case? Did the producers of the show even think about interviewing a jury member from the trial? It seems there was a lot missing in this show than was presented in a jury trial for a unanimous guilty verdict. This show can smear a police department but explain how a jury pool unanimously found him guilty? Guilty! That is all that is all. One star.
This is a solid old school 2 star out of 4 movie. It took 2 viewings to confirm its mid status.
From jump i felt like I was missing something. Were there a few movies or tv series I missed? I kept asking myself throughout, how did we get here?
I love James Gunn with Guardians, but that plucky/silly attitude works there and not so much with Superman.
There's no build up with Lois. Superman has been helping the world for awhile as the movie insinuates and in an instant all that good will was lost. Outside of Mr. Terrific and Krypto everything else was as mid as mid gets.
The one true miss was the casting of Lois. Brosnahan was absolutely brutal in marvelous Ms. Maisel and similar in this role. Talk about nails on a chalkboard. Brosnahan fits it to a T.
Overall, a mid movie and a weak attempt at a Superman movie. Stick to the OG.

We used to love food network and their content. This was a genuinely interesting show at one point. Just watched season 18 episode 1 and I see good food is no longer the goal. A few seasons ago they had a drag queen who was more interested in self promoting than cooking and was grifting people for $20 for Kraft mac n cheese. This season theres some IT guys. They are using grandmas recipes. I use bobby flays recipes, that does not make me bobby play. Theywere crying because Muslims have been looked down upon. Some truck serves biscuits with anything you can think of. They have heart attack grill of 4 wheels and other uninspiring cuisine. Zero talent all around.
I get it. Food network is circling the drain. Being replaced by youtube creators who can spit out 20 min videos weekly. The days of Alton Brown, Giada and Bobby are done. Now we get 50 variations of Guy Fieri shows all day. Anyways it's sad to see, but inevitable I suppose.
And who eats from food trucks anyways?
