I'm not going to get into the conversation about where it ranks amongst other Superman movies. I just want to say, I personally enjoyed it, I had a good time watching it last night, throughout the movie I had a big smile on my face. Some people may dislike it, for the tone of the movie, that this movie goes for, a more light hearted, Saturday cartoon feel, epic , fantastical , embracing all of the craziness sci Fi elements, throwing them all at the wall,an episode of Superman the animated series, I honestly don't mind that at all , love it. Also really like this new Superman performance, willing to save, help anybody, show kindness, even when that may get viewed negatively, . This new Lois Lane I think is done really well, she is standing on her own ground, always looking for the truth beyond the story, tough, determined, and questions Superman about his actions and holds him accountable. This new Lex I think is also very good, beyond obsessed with stopping Superman, and his willing to do anything, no matter what gets in his way to do that. Krypto being in this movie,it didn't bother me, he's more than just cute dog, he also helps Superman fight when Superman needs him. There's a line Superman says to Lois, when he has to rescue Krypto, he says hes out there scared and afraid,he may not be a good dog, but he has to rescue him, that line hit me for some reason, maybe because Ive had dog before.

Really liked Mr Terrific in here, would like to see more of him, felt like Hawk Girl, has some moments to shine, but there's lot going on, happening, and that effects her character,. Overall I really had a great watching it,every interested to see what happens next with these characters in this new version of the DC universe.

Some have said this movie is the scariest film in decades, well I respectfully disagree with that claim by a few. Though this movie is definitely disturbing, unsettling, the uncomfortable feeling of pure evil watching you, several shots in this movie, I kept looking in the back of the scenes , feeling something was lurking. I saw this movie last night, and I am very glad, that when I went to see it, I didn't know much about the plot at all, which I like when the marketing/trailers hold back , I like that, makes me more curious about the movie. The movie held my interest from the start, all the way to the end of it. To be honest, I do not usually watch these kind of movies, but it got my interest because everybody kept saying how good it is. Maika Monroe , I thought did a good job playing Lee Harker, she is socially awkward with her co workers and other people, alot of the times she seems withdrawn, distant, and certain abilities make her ,more invested in dealing with this Longlegs murder case and trying to stop more killings. Thought Nicolas Cage did a very outstanding performance I thought, his performance in Longlegs is powerfully disturbing and , his character of Longlegs gives you fright from his first appearance and his presence is felt when he's not there , you not sure what he will do.

Civil War some parts of are very unnerving, unsettling, the movie hits right in your gut, hits you emotionally. Kristen Dunst's character, Lee is stoic her performance is really good, she is hard-edged, she's seen horrible things over her career as a photo journalist, but she and few other photo journalists want to interview somebody in Washington DC before rebels storm Washington DC. Kristen Dunst performance and her relationship to a newer photo journalist named Jessie played by Cailee Spaeny is one of the stongest parts of of the movie. Jessie hero worships Lee and wants to follow in her footsteps, and she tags along with Lee and a few others who go on a road trip to Washington DC. Cailee Spaeny plays Jessie with young enthusiasm, some naivety, but also throughout the road trip, she gets her eyes opened to the harsh realties of this world. Interesting thing, they never in the entire movie really clarify actually say what the rebels are against who broke away from the United States. It's very vague, it's never really said that I heard what the divisions that caused the rebels to fight against other forces, they toss bread crumbs , stuff the president did but nothing much else that I heard is ever really explained in depth. There's a certain scene with actor, Jesse Plemons, his character in this movie is only in for few minutes, but his scene, I won't give anything away, his scene his part of the movie is one of the most deeply disturbing, creepy moments of the movie and also eye opening for Jessie. There's this one scene where these rebel snipers are talking to the small group of photo journalists and one sniper makes a comment saying basically nobody is giving them orders, they just out pretty much doing their own thing shoot or shot kind of thing. The ending, not sure how some people are going to respond, react, feel about the ending of this movie.
