I'm honestly surprised this series isn't pulling in stronger ratings, because it deserves far more recognition. The storyline is packed with tension, deception, and strategy-traitors plotting in the shadows, backstabbing allies, and political maneuvering that constantly shifts the balance of power. From start to finish, it kept us fully engaged and often right on the edge of our seats, eager to see what would unfold next.
The acting is top-notch, with each performer bringing nuance and depth to their character. The direction is equally sharp, maintaining suspense while weaving in subtle details that reward careful attention. This isn't just surface-level drama-it's layered storytelling that explores loyalty, ambition, and the cost of survival.

Overall, it's an excellent miniseries-intense, unpredictable, and thoroughly entertaining.

I'm usually not impressed with costuming in a show, but the hats and clothing they have Matilda wearing is unbelievably beautiful. The stories are pretty simple and dialogue dubbed, but overall it is a well produced show. Very cool music that doesn't fit the era, but helps the show be more current. Also impressed with Matilda's lead in such a feisty role fighting to be the first female attorney in Italy. Excellent job on her part and hopefully producers will continue the series and see the role fulfill the dream. Also although dubbed in English and of course recognizable, the voiceovers are pretty good.
