Matt Damon is impeccable, the rhythm is perfect - it's a truly thought-provoking film. The acting is great, the screenplay is well-crafted, the direction is marvelous, and the photography is acceptable. Those who rated it below 7 probably have grown accustomed to the fast-paced films of the last 20 years - lacking psychological depth and character exploration that require time and intrigue. Please take your time to grasp the movie's intended message. You will discover that every choice is influenced by the nature of the characters, with no alternative paths to take. This movie leaves you with the same impact as significant life phases do in reality. Here's the key: This movie is pure American expressionism, much like 'American Beauty.
Ok ok you are used to big rythm and spectaclar effect, but forget everything and let's enjoy the real life with real sensation and the plot of the life with not coupè de theatre. But I bid that this movie looked in the right way it will hit your hearth. big movie
