This movie was a pleasant surprise-unexpectedly romantic, thanks to the actors' incredible chemistry. The editing is sharp, keeping the pace fast and engaging without getting bogged down in unnecessary details. It respects the audience's intelligence, delivering the story without over-explaining. The performances are compelling, and the film strikes the perfect balance between emotion and storytelling. I enjoyed it so much that I watched it a second time with my husband, and it was just as captivating the second time around. Well done! Would enjoy a sequel with the same characters, well maybe !

The book was amazing and so far the series is spot on. The story is similar to a will to meaning, the idea is that we can get through anything in our own mind. It is not meant to be an historical interpretation of the times, though it will give you a glimpse of the different sides of the picture. Ewan is fantastic as the gentleman and I for one am excited to see the remains of the series. Everyone has their own opinion as you can see in the reviews. But those who have not read the book should wait to they watch the whole series before putting their two cents in. The first episode is just a small part of the entire story.

This is a wonderful movie, much better than the 6...score. Cate is superb as usual and lends the perfect amount of quirky ness to the lead role. A true look at the untapped under potential of genius, anyone who feels like a ghost, just floating thru life will be inspired to remember who they are meant to be.
