It's not a bad or boring movie. I will be honest i've never read the books but in my opinion this movie was better than the original movies. It was long because it's not a theater movie,it's a streaming movie and i guess this way they could make the movie close to story of books. And we could see the character as a human with flaws not a cliche selfish evil character. But i also should say that i think they mainly prepared the second half of the movie and it was completely different and better movie. Watch, enjoy and dont listen the people who never like a movie.(And put your phone down while watching a movie)
I love animes and mangas but i hate bad adaptations. I don't understand why, when they make these series they are forcing themselves to copy %100 to look like a manga character. Their movements and mimics can't be same exactly like the drawings and yet they try to act like that and it makes everything cringey. If you like the story try reading the manga it is much better.
Thanks to netflix now we see more animes and mangas. Sweet home is actually a mahwa (korean comic series, manga is japanese) so in tv series acting of the some characters are may look exaggerated but compare to the japanese tv series adapted from animes (e.g. Alice in Borderland) this show has much better actings. Overall it is fun to watch, good for spending your quarantine time.
