Watched the entire show. It's not bad, but it reminds me of times I had to deal with coworkers from rural parts of our state. It was kind of a surprise, but most are very nasty, reckless and surprisingly crooked. Yellowstone is a show for people like that. I made it through every episode but I won't lie that some of the characters they made out to be the heroes/good guys bothered me. Also, some of the backstories did as well, like the kids going to Harvard, law school or going into the Navy SEALS. It's just massively ridiculous, like someone who never has done this before wrote this.
I won't even get into the rancher criminal organization, probably the worst written part of the show. Nothing about it makes sense or was even thought out. I could write a whole book on that.
It's an ok watch but you need to turn your brain off while watching it.

I understand, it's dumb action movie fun, don't think too hard. However, it was poorly written and absurd. Korpi, the main character, has absurd plot armor. He's basically an Avenger. No one does anything smart, even with the drop on Korpi. Whereas I remembered the first as genuinely surprising as a good action movie, this was just a cash-in. And it was over the top.
I finished it, but honestly, would never watch again.
