The story of The Last Lear was compelling and interesting, and the idea of taking an old, Shakespearean theater actor (Bachchan) and casting him in a motion picture is intelligent.Each scene is very nicely executed making it a pleasure to watch be it.It is for sure one of the best performance by Amitabh Bachchan.He plays the role of a Shakespearean age stage actor,Harish Mishra.Harish Mishra is a die hard Shakespeare fan who thinks nothing could be better than him. A very decent movie,it has been beautifully made by Rituparno Ghosh and should be watched to see the beautiful performances by all the casts. All were amazing in the movie and those who haven't watch this movie must go through this.
The title of the movie attracts me and also one of my friend advised me to watch Do Dooni Chaar with family and that what did.The movie is so real,not a single scene makes you realize that you are watching a movie,its looks like you are living this life.Usually before watching this movie,when i see somebody on scooter,i don't feel good as i feel ashamed of him,but this movie teaches me a lot.What middle class families are going through. The film has one more plus and it is the casting, particularly of Rishi Kapoor, who delivers a moving and convincing performance with natural ease. Neetu Singh Kapoor is very good, especially considering the fact that she had not acted for decades.
Saanjhbaatir Roopkathara is an awesome Bengali film produced by the planman motion pictures.It is the story about a very young girl,Tukun played by Indrani Halder.She is amazingly talented and has displayed her talent in this film as well.Saanjhbaatir is her story. In it Soumitra Chatterjee plays the role of her father who helps his daughter to achieve her dreams and fulfill them.It has been directed by Anjan Das and asa director he is brilliant.Bengali films most of the times I have seen are really good and have deep meaning and messages for the audience.I personally liked the film because of Indrani and the brilliant performance by her in the film.I would never mind watching this film again nevertheless I have already watched it thrice!!!
