Unfortunately, I was disappointed by this one... The story and the idea had potential, and Anthony Hopkins was great as usual. The main reason for the weak score would be the acting of the 2 main characters, Jeffrey Morgan & Abbie Cornish, but especially Abbie Cornish. I think that the fact that she was trying so hard to control her Australian accent just made her performance stiff, unnatural and unbelievable. I didn't know she was Australian, but I noticed her accent was weird, so I literally had to pause the movie to google her and then it all made sense. Maybe if she would have been allowed to just speak naturally, this whole film would have been much better.

Of course it was written and produced by men. As a woman who was sexually assaulted, I was appalled by this movie. It's total non sense to satisfy men's fantasy about women saying -No- but really saying -Yes-. Disgusting. For some reason I need to write 5 lines... What else can I say without spoiling. Maintenant je me souviens pour je n'aime pas les films Français.

I am a big fan of sci fi and I give a try to pretty much every sci fi show that comes on my radar... I have been disappointed many times because of bad acting, bad writing, bad story or bad science... The first season of this show was pretty good, I thought it had potential but honestly, I wasn't super hopeful... I was wrong! The second season is really shaping up nicely, great, compelling and believable story, good dialogues, the actors are really good too. I am pretty excited about the possibilities with this show! I strongly recommend.
