"Father, it was boring and the movie was boring :(
I used to love the Szöke movies, but this one is really bad.
The degradation of village life, with annoying characters from Budapest with bad club accents.
A few scenes could have been funny, but they didn't manage to pull them off.
The whole thing was raped, smothered, torn apart, and twisted.
This movie wasn't a success."

Whenever a flick gets glowing reviews, the majority of which are posted in a single month (say...September in this case) I immediately suspect that a group associated with the flick had a pity-party to pump up the rating to an artificially high level. I'm absolutely sure that this is the case here since this snooze-fest would never rate more than a "1" by any objective viewer. There is more action in your average daytime soap opera (as well as better acting). If you're looking for entertainment worth your time (and you have high enough self-esteem to think your time is worth ANYTHING) avoid this travesty. Please.
I am not easily impressed, and can be brutally honest (and brutal) in my reviews (see Obstacle Corpse), but I recommend this movie with a big IF.
The premise of the movie is absurd, but IF you can get past that, this is actually a very entertaining film.
Production values are good (they spent some money on totally the card I'm sure); characters are consistent with their established personalities (no quick reversal of personality like Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom); actors and actresses are good in their roles, and their characters act believably given the circumstances they find themselves in; actions are (although noted as absurd) consistent with the premise of the work.
The lead female character is intelligent (except for her taste in men) and capable...not always the case in horror flicks.
This is not a classic, must see like Frankenstein, The Thing from Another World, Forbidden Planet, or Alien, but - if you (as noted) accept the premise - it is entertaining.
In short, if you want some down-time with enjoyable brain candy, I recommend this one.
