This movie is great. The story is simple & the characters needed the money for a nascar & in the meantime are having fun whilst being chased by the police.
The first car used in the theft was 1966 Chevrolet Impala Sport Sedan. The second car was 1969 Dodge Charger R/T. It was painted in a distinctive greenish-yellow color known as "Citron Yella.
Both cars were suit up super charged (a number of cars were used because of the crashes) to reach the high speed (of 148 miles) .
The actors had a hell of time before the surprising ending.

This movie reminds me of some of the British movies & TV films that showed the story in an almost empty village except for the main film characters. This movie has subtle humour & it is not made to bring a rush of adrenaline.
The zombies are recognised as zombies which does not make much of a panic reaction. The answer to the problem was simple in how to get rid of them. This movie is light hearted horror movie with characters that want to play a horror movie but in a calm and in sedated state. But one thing I could not figure out is the UFO. This movie had a samurai (if you wish to call her that) who is a funeral undertaker & an alien.
There are a lot of weird stuff to figure out that will make watchers to loose concentration or enjoy the movie.

Frankly, this movie is just an excuse to smash as many cars as possible, seeing them with smash cam, and to see the brilliant stunts. The star of the movie was the Mustang Shelby. Everything else was peripheral to the story.
The story itself is far fetched. Also, not sure how many Mustangs they used to complete the movie, since there is no way one car can survive this mayham. The movie was done at night, and the car chases & the driving were done in busy streets so there were too many cuts in almost every scene.
It cannot be compared to movies such as the getaway (Steve McQueen - Mustang 390 Fastback) and Dirty Mary & Crazy Larry (1966 Chevy Impala / 69 Dodge Charger) and Vanishing Point (1970 Dodge Challenger R/T). Those are classic rubber burning movies. If you like muscle car chases, you will enjoy them.
