Rajkummar Rao in Trapped (2016)

  • Storyline is good and Rajkumar's acting is fantabulous

The first half of the movie is no doubt slow but probably that is necessary so that the audience can properly sense the thrill in the later half. The plot is good too but the best thing the movie has to offer is the amazing performance by Rajkumar Rao.

  • Interesting, exciting and funny..

The plot is very interesting. Depp and Knightley put in the right amount of humour besides their flawless contribution as two of the main characters in the story. The makers have successfully used Physics and props in the action sequences and chases that further adds to the witty humour. The brief on-screen presence of Naomie Harris as Tia Dalma is brilliant and refreshing.

  • One of the best shows ever made..

The show has everything from an interesting story-line to intriguing future technology. The main cast has done a beautiful job in playing their characters. It's one of the best shows I've seen and I really enjoyed it and I think that the story-line had just picked up its pace when the show was cancelled. There was too much more exploring that could be done and too interesting plots that could be built around those explorations. There seems to be very little doubt that the show was cancelled too soon.

  • One of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen.....

The movie beautifully narrates the pure dedication and emotions that some scientifically curious humans have for unfolding the mysteries of the universe.. The adventure, the story, the fact that how people in older times used to get things done with such limited resources and the passion for one's job are the things that really moved me.. Great movie!!

  • It's amazing and it's a different version of comedy which is superb..

It's not a routine comic drama filled with witty and comic punches.. It's just a normal girl who is funny and is just speaking her mind out loud to the audience.. What makes it innovative is the way she is narrating those small, seemingly insignificant, but the light moments in her day and her expressions are so confident and funny.. Awesome!! So glad that I came across this show....

  • Just an average Super-hero movie..

The story doesn't grip you at all. There is not even a single action scene that is jaw-dropping. The comic punches are lazy and boring. The only thing that makes this movie still tolerable is the performance of its actors. Watch the movie only if you want to complete your count of all the movies in 'The Avenger Series'.

  • One of the best web series.. Amazing!

This web series has story (close to reality), marvellous acting by everyone, light humor in the right amount, amazing storyline narrated in a flawless manner.. It has everything that one would expect in an action drama.. Great job team 👍

  • Not bad for a movie made in 1999..

For the fans of this genre of 'Crime, Drama and Mystery', the movie might prove out to be a little disappointing because by now there has been too much built in this segment. For instance, TV series like 'Dexter' and 'The Mentalist' have raised the bar high enough in this area. So, those who have already watched these works of 2005 and later would not be so thrilled to watch this movie..

  • It's not just a 'One man running after another for money' story.. It's much more than that..

The story is basically that of a man who is sad and heart-broken to see the increasing violence and declining humanity in mankind. It's about a feeling that most of the humans generally face at some point in their lives when they read or encounter unbelievable violence and ask a question in silence - What is a human turning into? The message is quite clear in the way it has been narrated..

Other than this, for me, another big take away from the movie was - What a brilliant actor Javier Bardem is! He has been marvellous and absolutely exact in the portrayal of the character he was given.. Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin were as usual superb but Javier as a marvellous actor was a beautiful discovery for me through this movie!!

  • It's amazing what a cool and calm minded person can achieve!!

My one take away from this movie is - A calm attitude can work wonders in the most difficult situation!! This movie has demonstrated this fact beautifully!! Other sideline issues that have been touched are - First, how prejudice blurs the judgement and secondly, danger of giving a very sensitive duty to insufficiently sincere people.

Acting - Superb! Why would it not be when the cast is filled with legendary actors.. Story - Very interesting!

A must watch for people who have a like 'Off the beaten track' movies..

  • A successful attempt to show some real middle income family problems.. Lead actors are brilliant..

Kalki - Though she is already one of my favourites, but I used to think that she can only do justice with a character that is outgoing, modern, free-spirited, carefree, super energetic, youthful and somewhat irresponsible but this movie, to a happy surprise, broke that myth in my head. Her character in this movie is an ambitious woman but at the same time is a loving mother who cares a lot about her family and is trying hard to balance the responsibilities of a mother, a wife, a daughter and her career. Kalki perfectly fitted in the character.

Sumeet - I've always seen him in supporting roles and all I could see was that, he is not a bad actor but in this movie he had one of the two lead roles and he was brilliant in his performance! After this movie, he is a new name added in my list of good actors.

  • Brings back memories of those good old kids' shows..

I've just started watching it so may be it's a little too soon to say anything but watching this show is somewhat nostalgic. It has a touch that matches with those cute and beautiful shows of the 80s like Small Wonders, Different Strokes, Who's the Boss and Silver Spoons and a few that came a decade or so later like That's So Raven, Lizzie McGuire etc. It's a simple and beautiful show. Really enjoying it!!

  • Light and decent comedy..

It's a light comedy show that will make you smile throughout.. On the acting front, everyone has been good.. The plot is simple but different from the usual Indian comedies and as far as how a family comedy show should have been, it has definitely lived up to that mark from every angle..

  • Nice attempt but could have been better..

The movie, besides being a sci-fi, is a nice attempt to put one important message across and that is - "While running behind perfecting things, humans forget that even imperfections have beauty in them." We might think that the inability to complain makes robots better than humans, but at the same time the inability to feel makes robots far less intelligent than humans. Anyway, the movie is,

    1) entertaining 2) colourful 3) lightly comic 4) leaves a few areas weak (but that, in my opinion, were minor and not that harmful for the plot itself)

It was a decent attempt to make a light sci-fi movie.

A beautiful picturization of the life of autistic people, an introduction to understanding what exactly is happening in the brain in autism, the challenges faced by them on a daily basis and the way in which they're trying to adjust with these challenges and live their lives.

  • Lost it's charm as the seasons are going by....

Up until Season-7, I've been really really enjoying the show. The stories were interesting and so were the medical cases. I learnt quite a few medical terms because of this show and that was a big added advantage. But, Season-8 onwards, really felt that the show went more inclined towards the characters' stories and less towards the medical cases and the thing that really put me off was the pace at which they were killing and making important characters exit from the show. After that, I left it in between. It feels that they should stop stretching it like a stretchy-band and end the show before more people downgrade the show's rating.

  • Light comedy cum feel-good movie..

Few reasons to watch the movie-

    1) Tom Hanks 2) Steven Spielberg 3) Some light and cool DIY (not entirely practical!) survival (on the airport) tricks 4) Most of the emotions are in moderation - Lightly comic, lightly romantic, lightly villainy and lightly heart touching

  • An altogether different gem!!

It's a total entertainer.. Its the first movie of its kind and it has nailed the concept.. The movie has everything from comedy to a genuine focus on the routine lives and challenges of the people who get up everyday to make both ends meet.. Ranveer was superb and Alia has been awesome in the role of a confident and crazy girl.. Kalki's performance as usual is flawless and Siddhanth Chaturvedi, inspite of the film being his debut, didn't seem any less than his fellow experienced actors..

  • Two words - Beautiful Movie!!

The movie as such has a very simple story of how the life is, for people who find their way of living in gang work. But, the picturization of this simple thing has been done in an incredibly beautiful manner. What comes out pretty clearly as the movie unfolds is, at the end of the day, what matters is the people you love and who love you. Somewhere down the line, people undervalue the treasure of love and friendship but in actuality when one is standing at the dusk of life, everything seems small in front of a true friend and the innocent and happy time spent together. Other than that, the actors have been marvellous. They are so effortless in their acts that it seems that you're witnessing the actual characters going through everything.. Robert De Niro was wonderful as the main character and all others, including all the child actors have done their respective roles in an absolutely natural tone..

  • A harsh truth shown beautifully..

The series is a brilliant make on the problem of peer pressure and herd mentality that keeps many people from rising in their own area of strength, prevents them from making a profession out of their passion.

The series is light, yet impactful; serious, yet funny. Brilliant job by the makers!!

  • One of the master pieces of our time!!!!

It was the second time that I watched the trilogy that I was able to appreciate its real beauty that lies in the way the story has been written by imagining the world from an entirely different angle and weaving such an intelligent plot around it. The first time I saw it, all I was able to appreciate was the action sequence and the stylish phones. But the second time, the dialogues and the plot made so much sense and I really really enjoyed it this time at an altogether different level.

I must admit, there still are things that I don't understand and for those I am definitely going to watch the trilogy again because it's totally worth it.......

  • Simplicity at it BEST!!

This movie has touched some really important topics like friendship, kindness, empathy, love and the strength that these emotions have when humans show these to others. On the acting front, everyone was marvellous and the lead characters did complete justice with their roles. The story is good and the dialogues are simple and blend completely with the plot and background of the movie.

In nutshell, a beautifully made wonderful movie!!

  • Patience might be a handy tool for this movie!

First half of this movie might push you to press the stop button. However, the second half picks the movie up to a level where you might think - "Okay!! That's what they are talking about" or probably "That's what they are trying to say"..

The performances by all the actors is decent. The story however starts making sense only as it progresses.

  • It's different.. It's entertaining.. It's a must watch!!

Watch the movie for its best part and that is- '''''awesome comic dialogues, perfect timing and beautiful execution by Ryan Reynolds!!'''' Generally, Part 2 of a movie faces real challenge to live upto the expectations set by a superb Part 1. But, DP2 is one of the movies in that league where part 2 is equally awesome! Ryan Rocks.....
