Run time is around 2 hours, if they took out the social justice messaging it would be a 45 minute D+ special introduction into the FF and Phase 6 (I guess it's 6, who cares anymore).

Characters (most of them) where miscasted from the beginning, there's no help there anymore. Florence Pugh/Jelena may be a good actor, an awesome actor; but she will never achieve Fisical and emotional impact that Scarlett/Natasha gave us. That's why her pain never got to us in these scenes.

Maybe if they did a limited series, but we saw Falcon and the winter soldier try that.

Answer is not, so much, in who they cast, there is that but they don't have a serious work group . They need writers who know the material, who read the comics and understand characters and they stories. As long as they (Marvel or Disney execs) keep rewriting, changing already perfect storilines and dumbing down our Heroes, we won't be geting any decent Comic book movies.

But there are other franchises to be made. DC and Marvel had their chances and lost it.

The awesome season 01 of True Detective might as well be the only one; it's as the other seasons don't even exist in the same show. My original rating of the was 9/10; It was the first season and it had blown my TV addicted mind to pieces. I would of given it 10/10 but was waiting for the next season, for characters and storieline to get even better as it was so promising, but, it never happened.

It's not like I haven't been patient I stuck with the show for almost a decade, waiting for that comeback to the True badass Detectives that once were. But I dont see it reapeating its winning formula, especially after this latest mess. This Night Cunty "Horor/Mistery" thing had nothing to do with the theme we were hopeing for, it was six hours to long and boring, lost in to much stuff all over the place. I binged the whole thing as fast as possibile, just to end the suffering.

How can the same guy make such a awesome story and a sweet comic book character, and then totally destroy everything he made in an adaptation of the same charcter.

I mean he was the creator and producer did hepurposely wanted to destroy his own creation, and couplle of other IPs in one shot.

I loved the 1st season little to fast of an origin story but OK, than from S02; it was likw someone told him he wont be cancelled so he decided to euin it all.

Predictable storyline, dumb characer development. All does easter eggs and teasing of old school heroes and superteams just to throw it all away, sadman not starman.
