If you were expecting Star Trek, this is anything but. I watched about 30 minutes and couldn't bear to watch any longer. It is just a series of pointless action and bad camera-work. It reminded me of the mediocrity where the Fast and Furious franchise ended, when the two main characters ended up "driving" in space around the Earth in a car. That's how ludicrous this movie is.

Please, just stick to what works in Star Trek. None of this STD crap or spin-offs like this. Star Trek is about getting into starships and exploring the galaxy, encountering strangeness and wonder. It has a storyline. This is just a mess of gratuitous action. More of Strange New Worlds please!

A thrilling insight into the best quizzing minds of the era. I wish this could be an annual event. I think Barry from Eggheads said that it was his dream to take part in an Eggheads vs University Challenge contest, and this show takes it to another level.

My only hope is if they have it again... is to choose the highest ranking quizzers from each show. I agree with Pat, Kevin, Olav and Monkman but not the others. Also, put the Chasers in, not the people who beat them.

Would be wonderful to have one this year with Lee from the winning UC team, and Zheng from the previous year. Those guys were phenomenal and even freaky at times.

Brilliantly opportunistic to take the live volcano Katla and turn it into a mysterious and suspenseful series. Families and scientists around the volcano are immersed in an alien moon-like landscape as everything is covered in grey dust, so it was natural to include an alien and slight horror element to the story. As "beings" emerge from the volcano, each affected family deals with this independently and eventually there is a coming-together and discussion about why these mysterious events are happening. The pace is deliberately slow, in synch with the gradually-ascending pyroclastic cloud, and the abandoned town and sleepy hotel near the volcano. Each episode ends in a cliffhanger and makes you want to watch the next one, so be prepared for a binge. Not recommended for younger viewers due to violent acts by an excellent child actor.
