I agree with most of the mediocre reviews. The setting is lovely and that's about all you can say. There is no suspense, and no likeable characters to barrack for. It's also, slow, badly edited, honestly it could have been done in 3 episodes.
Mia is irritating behind belief and in my humble opinion badly cast. I soldiered on to the end Hopkin it would pick up at some point and it didn't.

Ignore the reviews that say the acting is bad. They have missed the point. Everyone does a fantastic job in very weird circumstances to act in, I'm sure. Issa is amazing, playing someone who has landed in a weird virtual world, it hard to act badly on purpose, remember that!
As every Brooker picks a hot, contentious AI topic and takes it to its logical end point. He's a genius. Harriet Walters is a legend and she dead pans to great comedic effect.
The black and white, the music, the nods to every classic tear jerker, are genius, it's subtle and again, everything was BRILLIANT SO THERE!!!! Thanks.

I love medical dramas, I'm loving The Pitt. This is not that, more Emergency Ward 10. The flashbacks are annoying. The acting is fine, it the script editor wants shooting. I have it two episodes and that was more than enough for me.
Avoid wasting your time. It's not like there isn't plenty of choice in this genre. I like The Good Doctor, new season is great. And New Amsterdam, eagerly awaiting new season and The Resident is very good too. And that's just the modern stuff. If you loved ER, House and Grays Anatomy you will hate this show. It's very very bad, don't know how it mad it past pilot.
