I've seen this movie at least 10x straight as an arrow and always comes back as a solid 8. STONED: Movies a solid 9. There are 7 good gut busting laughes, 8-10 good laughs. DOWNSIDE STONED: There are 2 scenes that kinda bum you out. Luckily they are 10 minutes apart from each other, and there's a couple good laughs after each part that get you back in stupid funny mode. If it wasn't for the 2 scenes, I'd rate a 10 for a first time watch STONED! Next time I'll adjust if necessary. Also, if you read this and watch it HAF like i did, please contact me on FB......The Movie & Game Guy. I'd love to hear your opinion. Thank you, rUaMovieFreak2.
Some that went in our group have never seen the original or any of the remakes. Others have seen a few, and I have seen them all. It took 102 years to do the classic Nosferatu justice. Max Shrek would be proud. Everything was done to perfection in my opinion. The acting was great. The period costumes were fantastic, and everything visual was breathtaking. And the dark ambiance throughout made it extremely creepy and intense. If you leave to use the restroom. Do it at the one hour mark quickly. And going back in, you might want to stand and let your eyes adjust again so you don't kill yourself getting back to your seat. If you're a fan Nosferatu and the original 1922 movie. This is a must see! Rarely do horror movies get remade that are worth watching. They got this one right!
I think I've watched the movie at least once a year since it came out, and it's still entertaining. But this time I watched the unrated extended cut with the extra 6+ minutes for the first time. It didn't add anything to the movie and the person that played Piper Perabo's body double was in no way a body double match. You'll understand what I'm saying if you're watching it for the first time. Those that have already seen it, know what I'm talking about. I do have to say that the casting was perfect. Each character in the movie played their part to a tee. And they each had there own unique personality. Overall, still a good watch😁
