It's a typical "Asylum" production but a bit better. The special effects are obvious and therefore not gripping. But, the concept is interesting. Yes, its unbelievable, but no more unbelievable than a "Godzilla" flick.
The acting for the most part is surprisingly good. I say for the most part. The only truly poor acting is surprisingly by Lorenzo Lamas. With his experience I expected better. It's sad that he, a name actor, is outdone by his relatively unkown costars. He is so over the top that he's laughable. The dialogue for his role is of no help. It also is laughably over the top.
But, it's an enjoyable way to spend some off time. And, what more can one hope for. It is, after all, an "Asylum" production.
