  • Actually Brilliant

This is actually a brilliant episode. Everyone's true self gets a moment, Don and the lady on the bedroom floor, Ginsberg and the tribe, Peggy and Dawn, Sally and Henry's mom!!

Amazing writing, and a glimpse into so many lives...

  • Excellent storytelling, very true to the books.

If you are a fan of the Harry Bosch books by Michael Connelly you will not be disappointed. In fact, this series, laid out as chapters of a book, feels truly authentic. You can feel that Michael Connelly is deeply invested in the project, both as writer and holder of the legacy; the dialog is crisp, the pacing is true to the books, and where changes are made to fit with video storytelling, they feel correct.

For example, this ten Chapter series is two books blended together, but it doesn't feel forced in any way, but totally natural.

It's not so much an adaptation, but the Harry Bosch books in a different format.

    10/10, highly recommend.
