I have been watching military TV shows and movies for a very long time, over 57 years. I really enjoyed this movie. But one thing has stuck in my craw all these years, in the real military world, Hawkins would have been court-martialed. He disobeyed a direct order and as a result Graham was killed. It shouldn't matter if you are good shot and a top notch SEAL, you cannot continually disobey orders by the team leader Curran as Hawkins has shown throughout this movie. The fact that the other team members did not mention that in their after action interview and statement is puzzling. Is that the way it is?
I have been watching westerns since I was in grade school. I often laugh at the inaccuracies found in these westerns. Caucasions playing native americans, etc. This is one of those westerns. Winterhawk is obviously riding a horse with a saddle hidden by a red blanket, stirrups are visible. Most of the other indians are correctly riding bareback as it should be.
