I started watching the show because of Don Johnson and Joshua Jackson. At first I thought this is terrible. I kept watching and after the second episode I feel like maybe something sinister or crazy is going on. Are they all dead? Is this real? At one point the Captain states " this ship is heaven" Is it? I hope I'm right or this really is a terrible show. The more episodes I watch the more I want to watch. I'm sad that Don Johnson isn't in the episodes more. I do love watching Joshua Jackson as a doctor who is unpredictable in every episode, and that's why I think there is something else going on. Sort of like the show From but we haven't been shown the monster part yet.
I enjoyed this movie very much. It's hard to find a Hallmark movie that is a little different. I enjoy watching both Bethany Joy Lenz and Tyler Hynes in anything they do. This movie is about a couple who have broken up and end up in his hometown together due to each of their jobs. His family does not know they have broken up so to keep his family happy, they pretend they are together. He ends up helping her with her assignment and she helps him with his. The reason this movie is different is it's more realistic. It is funny. I can see actor/writer Paul Campbell's hand in that. Please check out this movie on the Hallmark channel.
I've been waiting to watch this movie because I love Stuart Townsend. They could have done so much more with this movie. Why go all the way to Ireland and do the same old Christmas movie? Girl meets boy, falls for him, he falls for her and she lies to him about who she really is and he doesn't want anything to do with her. Of course it ends happily ever after but we've seen this one before. I gave this 8 stars for Stuart Townsend and the beautiful shots of Ireland.
