CRINGE! Terrible acting, stiff awkward out of place looking CGI, awful script despite a wealth of lore in the franchise. Superseeded by cheap animations on Youtube or books.

.... or half, somewhere around there. I felt it due to the beautiful hypnotic running metronome throught the film; there is so much to love here. It's honest; it's beautifully filmed and bold. Without a doubt at all worth every moment of your time and I feel that repeated viewings is definitely for me.

I have to say the other reviews on here giving it a 1 saying "it has no point" are completely and uttrely oblivious as the point is made very clear.

The title alone pretty much explains the premise and the point.

It's dark, violent and genuinely disgusting but "pointless" and "torture porn" get a grip.

Many of the reviews here never finished the film - that's all I can say.
