I was really looking forward to this one because I love the acting of both Taylor Cole and Steve Lund. They're two of my favorites. Though the story line was decent, and I thought the leads had good chemistry, I couldn't get over the hair.... FIRE THE HAIRSTYLIST on this one. Both leads looked like they had greased down, stiff, hair, that could use a trim and a brush. I also really dislike the 2 day growth of beard that has been 'the in style' for the past 5+ years. Get rid of it already!!!.. the style is great if taking a day or two off of shaving on the weekend or vacation, but otherwise looks lazy and sloppy. Both are really attractive leads, and deserved much better care than this.
I love the two lead actors! They're cute together, and bubbly, and make an overused storyline seem not quite so overused. But it really, Really, REALLY bothered me that she set foot into the food processing area several times with her long flowing hair possibly shedding all over the baked goods!!! Very unhygienic and against code, probably. Why can't these holiday movies actually show proper procedures around food stuffs.
I was so excited when I saw the cast list on here including - David Tennant (my favorite Dr. Who - loved him in everything I've seen of his.) Jennifer Garner, Juliette Lewis, Ione Skye....
What a waste of talent! My husband and I had to turn off the first episode before it finished. It was just too painful to watch. NOT funny. We wanted to like it so badly, but finally looked at each other and said - delete. A pilot episode should give you some of the best stuff to hook you to see the next episode. This did not. I don't mind a slowly developing story (too many shows just whoosh right through) but couldn't enjoy this mess.
