Very cool movie, perfect for people that like stuff like FINAL: THE RAPTURE and Thief in the Night, movies that I personally love. I find the overall atmosphere endearing at first and tense at the right times. If you are not a born again Christian, if you are a atheist or if you hate God, you are going to hate this movie. For the rest, enjoy it, it is a very well made End of Times horror Christian movie, if such thing is possible =) But yes, Thief in the Night had some horror elements, much scarier than real horror movies really, cause it relies more on tense and serious subjects than on blood. This movie is certainly way edgier than the old Thief in the Night series, and yes, the soundtrack is not Christian at all. But if you want a apocalyptic fix, look no further. If you do not hate God with all your heart, you will probably enjoy this very much =)

I like the Angry Video Game Nerd a lot, his reviews are very funny. So, it pains me to say: this is one of the worst movies I ever saw in my life, and certainly one of the worst comedies. It is almost embarrassing and ridiculous. It could be so much more if it was a little less: less effects, less over the top crazy action and less cheese scenes. It could be a sincere, down to earth comedy about a nerdy gamer that becomes a celebrity, but, instead, it is a crazy mess about aliens and some esoteric side plot about a ancient robot god or something.

I really do not think it is a matter of budget, the story is really really bad and unfunny, embarrassing really. It could be like CLERKS, with no budget whatsoever and be great, it is a really bad movie, for any budget. And 350k is a big budget for him, it is really not a matter of money. They should had someone honest to read the script, I guess all his friends were afraid of saying how bad the whole thing really was. Such a shame. What a sad movie.

I bought the 3d Blu Ray of this movie here in Brazil at a big retailer. What a pleasant surprise! This very low budget war flick is indeed a labor of love: - cool history, - decent dialog, -very classic battle scenes and - surprisingly well made all around. I am very happy with this one. It could be made into a series or something. The cast of unknowns is solid, some good performances here and there and above average at least. Music is also well made and enjoyable, which is important in a war movie. The plane itself is decent and well built enough to keep us in the movie. Very decent effort, and it cost like 7 dollars here in Brazil (the blur-ray, that is), so it was a nice bargain!
