Any movie with Adriano Celentano in it is usually funny and always entertaining.

Grandi Magazzini is certainly both funny and very entertaining! Along with him and many others like Enrico Montesano and Michele Placido, Lino Banfi and Renato Pozzetto, provide the film with different layers of comedy which allows each comic to bring their unique perspective to the screen while incorporating in into the main storyline with hilarious results. Italian comedies like this manage to blend quick one-liners with perfected slapstick, very reminiscent of the Marx brother's films of the 30's and 40's. This film works because no one is taking themselves too seriously and it seems everyone is having fun. Also it's important here that no one actor is the 'lead' but many contribute and work excellent as a team. I am hoping this will be released sometime soon on DVD so that I can see it again after many years. I wonder if the producers could be convinced to do a sequel all these years later???

I have a lot of fond memories when I was a child and I have a lot of fond memories watching various films and TV shows as a child. One movie that I remember very fondly where I laughed so hard I cried was Yellowbeard. I recently watched it again and although slightly dated it was still incredibly fun and I still laughed out load. I think it may have something to do with the fact that I love anything with Marty Feldman in it. No, this isn't a smart intelligent comedy. It's a crazy, wild ride that feels like 'Indiana Jones meets Monty Python'. If you're in the mood to laugh and laugh really hard, you should give this a try. Clearly one of my favorite comedies from when I was young.

Horror at its best!!!!!! This movie is definitely one that earns the designation of HORROR!!!!! The atmosphere is chilling and the characters are zany and unpredictable. At first glance I thought that this movie would be another Italian slasher fest, but instead I was amazed to discover this eerie piece of cinema had a lot to deliver, most of all a frightening tale of sin and temptation. The devil in this movie is one that instills fear and curiosity, just as the devil should be portrayed. I recommend this film to horror fans and movie fans that don't like watching a typical film. Just a note of caution, this movie is not for the faint of heart. As is with many euro horrors of its day, the Devil's Nightmare pulls no punches when it comes to murder and mayhem. Enjoy!
