All About Talk to Me (2023)

Documentary

All About 'Talk to Me'
These Australian twins invite you to 2023's most disturbing ghost story. This is All About 'Talk to Me.' Ever wanted to touch the other side? 'Talk to Me' offers the chance to communicate with the spirit world via an embalmed hand and a simple phrase ... "Talk to me." Mia (Sophie Wilde) becomes obsessed with ghostly possessions in her efforts to reach her deceased mother, which opens a door to the other side for some not-so-friendly souls to cross over. The film's ghastly visuals come courtesy of twin filmmakers from Adelaide, Australia. Danny and Michael Philippou have been making a name for themselves on YouTube as RackaRacka. Their breakout from April 2014, "Harry Potter VS Star Wars," racka-racked up 34MM views and counting. In 2019, the twins make local headlines when they were hit with criminal charges for driving the world's first "underwater car." And in 2020, the Philippous have to pay a fine and forfeit driving for two whole weeks, which happens to be around the same time that they announced their feature film debut 'Talk to Me.' The film was a festival hit at Cannes, Sundance, and SXSW before terrifying IMDb at San Diego Comic-Con. Now, 'Talk to Me' offers an open hand to the world, imploring audiences just like you to say ... "I let you in."
