It’s fair to say that most adults have struggled with sexual urges, sexual identity, sexual promiscuity or sexual abuse in the past. Where do we go wrong? Our Adamic nature, Adamic nurture (worldly upbringing,) and weak church teaching all contribute to the advancement of fallen ideas about sex and sexuality. Sex can be a very important part of married life; and Satan works overtime to entice, deceive and pervert this God-given gift, bringing confusion at best and horror at worst. Satan, the prince of this world, counterfeits sexuality. He cheapens it. Uses it in marketing campaigns. Splatters it across magazine covers in grocery store checkout lanes. He cries, “Feed your flesh! Do what feels good!” “Do as thou wilt,” is the mantra established by Satanist Aleister Crowley. “Be true to yourself,” and “Love wins” are the world’s mantras today. Yet Jesus says, “Deny yourself.” This is a stark contrast.
