Two anonymous brothers recording in San Francisco and Beirut. Mamaleek repeatedly creates some of the most intriguing, aesthetically-realized Black Metal anywhere.
This album is extremely bleak, whether through the harsh blasts of industrial synths, fast 808s, old-timey movie samples, or screamed lyrics about depression, addiction, and death. All 10 songs are consistent and great. I'm not always in the right headspace for End Position, but it executes its nihilism perfectly. colefarrell
