FNSI and Molly!

Last night at the FNSI I managed to work on two projects plus did a bit of preparation. I was hoping to get a little more done but due to our gorgeous new family member, time was taken up with the toilet training business!

I finished my journal cover. I was working on it Tuesday and hoped to finish it Wednesday but once Molly arrived no sewing was touched at all!

Finished block 5 of my Merry Mistletoe quilt.

Molly has settled in very well. It's only taken her 3 days to take over Ginger's bed!

Here's poor Ginger with Molly on her bed (sorry it's a bit dark). Initially, when Molly headed for her bed, Ginger would let her know who it belonged to!

This morning Molly met Lucky the Love Bird. You may just be able to make Lucky out sitting on the left of the pen. They checked each other out and that was that!

FNSI and Lucky has a Shower!

I managed to get a fair bit of stitching done last night. I was hoping to finish the whole block but when I looked up, it was 12.30am so I thought I'd better head off to bed. All I've got left are three snowflakes and the word 'snow' so that won't take long to finish.

I think I've mentioned Lucky before and how we let her fly around the kitchen/living room on a weekend. This morning she flew into the sink and waited for the tap to be turned on for her to take a shower. It's actually quite hard to get a photo as she keeps moving around so much.

She climbed back onto her cage and waited to dry off.

I'm off to Guild today (North of the Yarra Quilters), so lots more sewing, talking and inspiration. I'll finish my snowman block and hopefully another Tis The Season block.
