PANKAJ UDHAS AT OUR HOUSE ON 27/11/82

Here's an interesting one. This seems to be a private recording of ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas performing at some private party in 1982... Who knows, might be never released this one :) Pankaj Udhas is one of the biggest ghazal singers in India and he became famous after he released a ghazal album in 1980 called Aahat. He became so succesful that he was asked to sing as a playback singer for Bollywood movies and he has sung in many, many movies since then.... Playback singers are the folks who really sing the songs sung in Bollywood movies that are lip synced by actors, singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Mohd. Rafi etc. .... Quite a find this one!

ANURADHA PAUDWAL & CHANDAN DAS - ISHQ

Yeah. So, yesterday I bought a bag full of cassettes from India, most of the tapes ghazal music and some other stuff. About 20 or so with the cover and everything, and the seller gave me some 20 extra tapes without cover as a bonus, lot's of stuff where I will have no idea what it is, most of them have at least something written on them. Going to be fun trying to make sense of it all... Starting things off with this one, ghazals by Anuradha Paudal and Chandan Das.... GET IT HERE Enjoy!
